Phoenix Theater

Directions

The Phoenix Theater is located at 2605 Hennepin Avenue in Uptown Minneapolis.

-From Highway 94 heading west, take the Hennepin/Lyndale exit, then Hennepin Avenue Southward.

-From Highway 94 heading east, take the Lyndale exit and merge onto Hennepin Avenue

-From Highway 394 heading east, take Dunwoody Blvd and take a right onto Hennepin Avenue

-From Highway 35w heading north, take the Lake street exit and go west on Lake, then turn right on Hennepin Avenue.

Parking

There is no parking lot for the Phoenix. Street parking is free almost everywhere around the space. Likely spots are in front of the school on Hennepin, down 26th, or on one of the residential streets parallel to Hennepin.

Do not park in the spots behind the theater! You will be towed.

Accessibility

Phoenix Theater is located directly at a city bus stop on the 6, 12, and 17 lines.  Our lobby is fully accessible, as is the front row of our audience seating.  We also have a fully ADA compliant bathroom on the main floor, thanks to a grant from VSA Minnesota.

Dining Suggestions

Phoenix Theater highly suggests dining at the Uptown Diner, Nico’s Tacos, and Red Cow Uptown.
