Official Ostrich Committee
OFFICIAL OSTRICH COMMITTEE, a Minneapolis based teen improv group, presents a family friendly, two act, improv comedy show featuring two forms, including one created by the teens themselves! Since forming out of a HUGE Theater teen improv class over two years ago, Official Ostrich Committee has been performing their wonderfully funny style of improv regularly at Phoenix Theater, HUGE Improv Theater and other venues around the twin cities.
ACT ONE – The teens play some of their favorite SHORT FORM IMPROV games. If you’ve ever seen Whose Line is It Anyway then you’re familiar with short form and you know how fast and fun it is!
ACT TWO – The teens become the WORLD DECISION CLUB, and attempt to fix a small problem with a series of well-intentioned but hilariously misguided solutions that somehow only end up causing bigger problems. This form was created by the teens themselves. If you give a mouse a cookie, he’s probably going to ask for a glass of milk. But if you give teens control of the world, well… it’s anybody’s guess what they’ll do to it!
This show is audience interactive, appropriate for all ages, and runs approximately one hour, including a ten minute intermission. Tickets can be bought in advance or at the door.
